Maglakas-loob na Mangarap: Lenten Reflections Inspired by Pope Francis

February 13, 2021 | Story by: Christian Life Community in the Philippines | They draw from different readings and follow different movements throughout Lent to help broaden their usage by different groups.

Dear Friends in the Lord,

Peace! CLCP has collaborated again with the John J. Carroll Institute on Church and Social Issues (JJCICSI) for the development of reflection guides to help us deepen our relationship with the Lord and our action in participating in the building of the Kingdom during this Lent. These guides weave together readings from throughout the Lenten liturgies with reflections from Pope Francis' latest book Let us Dream. We hope you and your community may find these helpful.

There are two different reflection guides: Maglakas-loob na Mangarap, which has both English and Filipino versions, and Dare to Dream which is available in English only. They draw from different readings and follow different movements throughout Lent to help broaden their usage by different groups. Feel free to use the version and reflections which are most relevant and inviting to you and your community.

Please also feel free to share these with others as these are meant to be distributed widely.

May the risen Lord draw us ever more deeply into the mystery of dedicating ourselves to making present His Kingdom among us!

In Christ,
