Solemnity of Corpus Christi
Dear Members of our CLCP Community,
Greetings of peace and unity on this feast of Corpus Christi!
This is to announce the official retirement from CLCP of Jocelyn (Joy) Asajar as Formation Institute Officer effective May 31, 2024.
Our NLC respects the reasons given by Joy behind her request for early retirement. In appreciation of her dedicated service to CLCP for the past 7 years and 10 months, particularly during the challenging times under the pandemic, we have agreed to grant Joy her request.
We pray that this time of retirement will provide Joy with avenues for resting in the goodness of the Lord and seeing His goodness at work in her life and that of her family.
In his homily on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), Bishop Barron pointed out that the Eucharist is essentially the fullest act of gratitude. It is a sacrifice of righteousness and peace, and an instrument of care. Thus it is auspicious that we make this announcement in the spirit of this feast.
When asked for a message to our community, this is what Joy wrote:
"I am sincerely grateful po to God for the gift of CLC and the whole community in my life po...maraming salamat po."
Joy, we thank you for having been a member of our CLC staff, and for the gift of your person and presence in our community. Be assured of our best wishes for this new chapter in your life. May God bless you and your family always.
Sincerely in Christ,
The National Leadership Community
P.S. Those who may wish to send messages to Joy may do so to her personal email account: [email protected]
