Dear Friends in the Lord,
As we enter the season of Lent, Pope Francis in his Ash Wednesday homily last year reminds us that 'lent is a time to reconsider the path one is taking in life and to finally answer God's invitation to return to Him with one's whole heart.' A suitable season to respond to the call of Laudato Si to return to and to take care of our common home.
To help us reflect, pray and accompany each other on our journey towards God's heart and towards having a heart that loves and cares for our common home, CLCP, in partnership with Project Prophet PH, and the FCJ and Friends-Philippines, offers you these Lenten reflections inspired by the Gospel of the Sundays of Lent including Easter and Laudato Si. These guides, both in English and in Filipino, can be used as a Prayer Session material and for individual prayer.
CLCP and its partner institutions are also offering a series of online "prayer circles" for those who would like to join other journey-ers as they respond to God's invitation to personal conversion and social transformation. The weekly 1.5-hour sessions will be held in Zoom every Saturday from March 5 to April 16, 3:00 - 4:30 PM. If you wish to join the prayer circle, kindly click the link to register: https://bit.ly/RegisterPrayerCircles
May this Lenten season be an opportunity for us to journey with each other and with the Lord as we co-labor with him in bringing about God's reign in us and in the wider society.
